When you visit our website

When you get in contact

We will have access to your name, email address and any additional information that you choose to disclose to us. We need this information to respond to your query.
We use a customer relationship management software to manage all email enquiries. Please read the note below for more information about how your personal information is processed.
Over the phone
Phone calls are recorded to help us provide great customer service. If you choose to purchase your scooter over the phone, don’t worry! - We will stop recording while your order is being placed.
All of our calls are made using Ring Central. Ring Central stores the recordings of these calls for 90 days before they are transferred to our secure server, unless you choose to exercise your right to have this personal information deleted. Please see our Ring Central note below for more information about how they process your personal data.
When you make a purchase
We collect personal information so we can communicate with you, fulfil your order, and help with fraud prevention and detection.
The information we collect from you includes; your name, shipping address, billing address, email address, and phone number. When you place an order with us, we are entering into a contract and this information is required for us to fulfil our contract with you. When you place an order through the site, we will maintain this information for our records so that we can help you with any further enquiries until you ask us to delete this information. If you would like to delete this information, please contact us using the contact details provided below.
Payment information is collected from you by Shopify so that we can take your payment, provide refunds, and prevent / detect any fraud orders. Please read the Shopify note provided below for more information.
Data Retention
We will only process your personal data providing you have given your consent for us to do so. Under the provisions of the DPA, our firm’s lawful basis for processing personal data is based on our contract with you. We retain that information for up to six years due to a legal obligation arising from a legal requirement for the firm to hold your personal data and financial information on record. This six year period satisfies the requirement of our regulator, The Financial Conduct Authority and is also in line with other financial industry retention periods.
Sharing your information
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
Third Parties
We do not, and will not, sell any of your personal data to any third party. However, your information is shared with third parties that are necessary for us to complete your order. The third parties we engage with work as we do and will only collect, use and disclose your personal information as much as necessary to help us fulfil your order. These providers often use third party providers themselves; this allows us to work together to give you an exceptional shopping experience.
Host our Online Store
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Order information is stored on Shopify’s data storage applications.
Process your payment
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After this is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as manged by the PCI Security Standards Council; which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirement help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. Customer Relationship Management
We currently use Front to manage all customer queries that we receive. Your query will be stored on this system for our records until you ask us to delete it. We recommend reading Front’s Privacy Policy (https://frontapp.com/privacy-policy).
Phone System Management
Our phone system is run using Ring Central. We record all inbound and some outbound calls, the system will automatically notify you when your call is/is not being recorded. Recordings are kept by Ring Central for 90 days before being transferred to our server.
